At the circle of truths your privacy is important to us all personal information gathered by the circle of truths: such as from the web site forms, and from documentation of our sessions will be held with confidence at all times.

What information do we collect?

At the circle of truths, we do not collect any sensitive information such as bank accounts or government issues identification.


We collect information primarily for three purposes:

To book and schedule appointments

To document sessions

To assist in a potential scientific study


We collect booking information such as name, address, and contact information to generate a appointment.  At the end of the session we document what the induvial experiences and we also encourage the individual to do the same.  At some point it is our intention to work with the scientific community to perform a detailed study on the effectiveness of the techniques and energies used at the circle of truths.  In the event of this study, and in the event that the study requires detailed client information, the circle of truths will obtain written consent from the individuals who may appear in the study.


It is important to note that at any time, the individual may request the records of their previous session dating back to our retention period end date.


How do we use personal information?

We may also use your information to:

  • personalisation of content, business information or client experience
  • account set up and administration
  • delivering marketing and events communication
  • carrying out polls and surveys
  • internal research and development purposes
  • providing goods and services
  • legal obligations (eg prevention of fraud)



What legal basis do we have for processing your personal data?

When do we share personal data?

We treat all client information with strict confidence and in the event that we share the information on our website we scrub any information that could uniquely identify the individual.  It should be also known that at no point do we share data in any form to any third-party business entities for any purpose. From time to time we might share the results of a session on our website as a testimonial and in all cases the information is scrubbed of any personally identifiable information.  At some point we intend to compile the data for the purposes of a study to document the effectiveness of sessions from the Circle of truths.  In that even if for the purposes of the study identifiable records are required the individuals will be given an additional consent form which will outline that their information will be used in a study and their consent will be required to use their unaltered information.



Where do we store and process personal data?

All user data is stored in Canada and follow the guidelines set out for data protection under the laws of the Canadian government


How do we secure personal data?

Our data is secured both physically and with the use of technologies and our staff have been trained on data protection and privacy


How long do we keep your personal data for?

We retain client information for less than 5 years, in the event that a client signs an additional consent form allowing the use of their information in a study, the additional consent form will potential include an additional extension to allow for the publication of their information within the study, if identifiable information is required by the study.


At the end of the retention period all information will be wiped from all servers and devices, with the exception of those individual records for which an additional consent form has be produced and signed


Your rights in relation to personal data

At any time, the individual can send an email to to:

  • access their personal information
  • correction or delete their information
  • withdrawal of consent
  • restriction of processing and objection
  • lodging a complaint with the Information Commissioner’s Office or other Privacy Body
